Taylor Swift Now pop up: What you missed
Thursday marked the end of a limited run for the Taylor Swift NOW pop-up shop in downtown New York City, which Swift herself help put in the news earlier this week by surprising fans who lined up for a chance to step foot on the space’s blue carpet.
Featuring reputation-themed items — and even Swift’s gold throne from the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video — the Swift shrine has been documented online by fans since it opened last week, but the DIRECTV NOW-sponsored event still packed a few snap-worthy surprises when we popped by on Thursday. Below, take a look at what you may have missed, and then watch Swift’s DIRECTV and AT&T series, The Making of a Song.
1. The “Look What You Made Me Do” photo booth

Yes, this is the same throne Swift sat in while filming those epic snake scenes from the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video.

2. Potential Kanye West and Tom Hiddleston shade
Swift might have karma on her mind in reputation, but I’m happy to report that she has a sense humor about it.
Exhibit A: This “I ❤ TS” t-shirt, which will look familiar to anyone who remembers Swift’s Tom Hiddleston romance.

Exhibit B: This wall of flowers celebrating reputation track “King of My Heart.” The song appears inspired by Swift’s beau Joe Alwyn, but this wall of floral arrangement seems straight out of the Kanye West gift guide. West and wife Kim Kardashian famously had a wall of flowers at their 2014 nuptials, and Swift received the “coolest flowers” from West when they were friends in 2015.

3. The real ‘reputation’ costumes
With elaborate music videos one click away on our screens, it’s easy to get used to seeing one beautiful costume after another. Inspecting the “…Ready for It?” and “LWYMMD” looks in person gives you a greater appreciation for the designers who spend hours developing Swift’s intricate ensembles.

4. Fun merch
All the clever items here — socks, snake jewelry, phone cases, sweaters for dudes! — can be purchased at Swift’s official online store, but again, photos don’t reveal the quality. Though pricier than, say, Forever 21’s clothing and accessories, Swift’s stuff is legit well-made.

5. Lyric lights
One thing not for sale? Reputation lyric lights like this one, which you might suspect would hang in thousands of dorm rooms if they were available in stores. Get on it, Urban Outfitters.

6. The ‘reputation’ wall
Some people — shout-out to Mashable! — tried counting how many times “Taylor Swift” appears on the reputation cover. This pop-up wall made that much easier.
