Michael B. Jordan voices a pilot named Julian Chase in Rooster Teeth’s new animated science fiction show gen:LOCK, which is set 50 years in the future. “I don’t want to be too spoilery, but I can say that [the plot] involves weaponizing a breakthrough in neuroscience,” says creator Gray Haddock.
The show’s cast also includes Maisie Williams, David Tennant, Dakota Fanning, Asia Kate Dillon from Billions, and Haddock himself. “I get to hear them every day and I honestly still don’t believe that it’s real,” says Haddock of his actors. “So, yeah, I try not to drag everyone down with my performance.”
The first two episodes of gen:LOCK will premiere on the Rooster Teeth website, Jan. 26. Watch the show’s new trailer, above.
